Linux/DevOps Migration Engineer

Job Summary

To assist with migrating a JetBrains TeamCity CI/CD server from CentOS 6.5 to Amazon Linux 2023, the part-time remote Linux/DevOps Migration Engineer will plan and execute the migration while preserving build configurations and ensuring security compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Assess the current TeamCity installation and document dependencies
• Plan and execute a phased migration approach with sandbox testing
• Configure Apache httpd as a reverse proxy with SSL termination and validate all build configurations

Required qualifications

• Experience with Linux system administration (RHEL/CentOS family)
• Proficiency in AWS EC2 instance provisioning and management
• Familiarity with JetBrains TeamCity administration and data directory management
• Knowledge of server migration and cutover planning with minimal downtime
• Experience managing Java/JDK on Linux, specifically Java 8
