Linux Engineer with IAT Level II Certification

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Linux Engineer to join their team remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, deploy, and maintain secure Linux-based systems in compliance with DoD STIGs and ATO requirements
• Automate routine administrative tasks and manage large-scale deployments using enterprise tools
• Monitor system health and performance while integrating Linux systems with enterprise identity services

Required Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret or Top Secret/SCI clearance
• Current IAT Level II certification (e.g., CompTIA Security+ CE) or equivalent
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• 3+ years of Linux administration experience, preferably in a secure or classified environment
• Preferred OS-specific certifications like RHCSA or RHCE
