Job Summary
Supporting Linux servers and middleware platforms, the full-time Linux Middleware Systems Administrator will manage system administration, patching, monitoring, and troubleshooting in a remote environment with occasional office visits required.
Key responsibilities
- Administer and maintain Linux servers, focusing on Red Hat Enterprise Linux and middleware platforms for application integration
- Respond to production alerts and outages, troubleshooting issues related to Talend services, Linux systems, and database connectivity
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve incidents and participate in on-call production support as needed
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of Linux systems administration experience in a production or enterprise environment
- Strong hands-on experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux and middleware technologies
- Experience troubleshooting PostgreSQL, Oracle, and MySQL database connectivity issues
- Working knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls, and basic network troubleshooting
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred, or equivalent hands-on experience
