Job Summary
Supporting Linux servers and middleware platforms in a hybrid environment, the full-time Linux Middleware Systems Administrator will manage system administration, patching, monitoring, and troubleshooting for Talend services and database-connected applications.
Key responsibilities
- Administer and maintain Linux servers, focusing on Red Hat Enterprise Linux and middleware platforms for application integration
- Respond to production alerts and incidents, collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve connectivity and performance issues
- Monitor and troubleshoot Talend components and database connectivity, ensuring stable and secure operations
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of Linux systems administration experience in a production or enterprise environment
- Strong hands-on experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux and middleware technologies like Talend and SOA services
- Experience troubleshooting PostgreSQL, Oracle, and MySQL database connectivity issues
- Working knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls, and basic network troubleshooting
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred
