Linux Site Reliability Engineer
Job Summary
To support enterprise network observability and cloud infrastructure, the remote Linux Site Reliability Engineer will manage and operate Linux and Windows VMs in Azure, maintain network observability platforms, and automate tasks using scripting languages.
Key responsibilities
- Administer and operate Windows and Linux VMs in Azure to ensure compliance with security and configuration standards
- Maintain network observability platforms, performing upgrades, patching, and capacity planning
- Identify and automate tasks using Bash, Powershell, or Python
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience
- 5-7 years of enterprise experience in IT systems, network, or site reliability engineering
- Strong understanding of network observability, including SNMP and NetFlow
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as Azure
- Strong understanding of enterprise networking protocols
