Linux System Administrator

Job Summary

Seeking a proactive and technically competent Linux System Administrator, the full-time remote position will manage Linux infrastructure across data center and cloud environments, focusing on automation, support, and maintenance of standard services.

Key responsibilities

• Provide remote support for Linux infrastructure, managing the full OS lifecycle including installation, patching, and upgrades
• Drive automation for infrastructure deployment and operations using scripting and tools like Ansible
• Troubleshoot complex server issues, deliver Root Cause Analysis reports, and implement security best practices

Required qualifications

• 8 to 10 years of overall IT infrastructure administration experience, with at least 5+ years in Linux
• Strong experience in Linux Server administration (RHEL, Ubuntu, etc.)
• Proficiency in bash scripting and automation for system administration tasks
• Understanding of core networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, Firewall basics)
• Relevant certifications (e.g., RHCE, DevOps, or similar) are a plus
