Linux System Administrator

Job Summary

Seeking a collaborative and technically proficient Linux System Administrator, the full-time remote position will manage Linux infrastructure across data center and cloud environments, handle OS lifecycle management, and design automation processes for long-term scalability.

Key responsibilities

• Provide remote support for Linux infrastructure and manage the full OS lifecycle, including installation and upgrades
• Design and implement automation for infrastructure deployment and operations using scripting and tools like Ansible
• Troubleshoot complex server issues and deliver detailed Root Cause Analysis (RCA) reports

Required qualifications

• 8 to 10 years of overall experience in IT infrastructure administration, with at least 5+ years in Linux
• Extensive experience in Linux Server administration (RHEL, Ubuntu, etc.)
• Proficiency in bash scripting and automation for system administration
• Understanding of core networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, Firewall basics)
• Relevant certifications (e.g., RHCE, DevOps, or similar) are a plus
