Linux System Engineer

Job Summary

To enhance operational excellence, the full-time Linux System Engineer will deploy, optimize, and configure Linux-based application environments while ensuring the reliability and performance of critical medical imaging systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and optimize software solutions on Linux servers, managing complex server additions and disaster recovery activities
• Develop scripts and automation tools to streamline workflows and standardize deployment architectures
• Implement improvements to maximize application robustness and uptime across server, network, and storage layers

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience
• 5-7+ years of system administration experience in Linux-based environments
• Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) certification or equivalent hands-on experience
• Proficiency with PostgreSQL and scripting skills in Shell, Python, or PowerShell
• Solid understanding of Linux and Windows operating systems, networking, and storage
