Linux System Security Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Sr. Linux System Security Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the implementation and maintenance of Linux environments for security and incident response
• Write system lifecycle documentation and generate Enterprise Architecture documentation as needed
• Perform security hardening and collaborate with teams to improve automated configuration management

Required Qualifications

• U.S. Citizen with ability to obtain Public Trust and complete DHS Security Clearance
• 10 years' experience administering complex Linux applications in a medium to large enterprise
• Expertise in containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
• Advanced knowledge of configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet)
• Bachelor's in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
