Linux Systems Administrator

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Systems Administrator.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain, monitor, and optimize Linux systems (Ubuntu, Red Hat, etc.)
• Automate system tasks using Bash, Python, or Ansible and manage user accounts and permissions
• Collaborate with developers and security teams on infrastructure needs and document systems and configurations

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree with 5-7 years of experience in Linux/Unix administration
• Advanced knowledge of shell scripting (Bash, Python, PowerShell)
• Experience with monitoring tools (Zabbix, Prometheus, Grafana)
• Strong expertise with Ansible for configuration management and automation
• U.S. Citizen with eligibility to obtain a DoD Secret security clearance
