Linux Systems Administrator

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Systems Administrator to support enterprise infrastructure for the Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA).

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain enterprise Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) servers and perform daily administration tasks
• Collaborate with Oracle database administrators to support Linux-based database environments
• Manage Linux systems within VMware and Microsoft Azure, assisting with infrastructure modernization efforts

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus a minimum of 2 years of experience administering enterprise Linux environments
• Active Secret Clearance
• Strong experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) or similar distributions
• Experience managing Linux storage using Logical Volume Manager (LVM) and supporting systems in VMware
• Experience deploying or administering Linux systems in Microsoft Azure
