Linux Systems Administrator

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Linux Systems Administrator who will be responsible for managing Linux-based servers and infrastructure in an Azure Cloud environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, secure, and maintain Linux servers in various environments
• Monitor system performance and implement backup and recovery procedures
• Enhance system security and manage user permissions in accordance with policies

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field preferred, or equivalent hands-on experience
• 3 to 5 years of experience administering Linux servers in a production environment
• Strong knowledge of Linux command line, system services, and package management
• Understanding of TCP/IP networking fundamentals related to Linux servers
• Proficiency in Bash scripting; exposure to another scripting language is a plus
