Job Summary

Joining a collaborative team, the full-time Linux Systems Administrator II will manage and maintain server operating systems and infrastructure, ensuring reliability and security while providing Level 2 support for complex technical issues, with options for hybrid or remote work arrangements.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and maintain server operating systems, hardware, and core infrastructure for optimal performance and security
• Monitor systems proactively to identify issues and implement improvements
• Provide Level 2 support for technical issues and participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation for critical operations

Required qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant work experience or post-secondary education in a related field
• Experience with CentOS/RHEL Linux systems administration and basic Linux utilities
• Proficiency in scripting within a Linux environment and command-line interface (CLI) usage
• Familiarity with monitoring performance, patching, backup & restore, and SSL certificate management of Linux servers
• Knowledge of TCP/IP LAN networking principles and application protocols (e.g., HTTP, HTTPS, SMTP, FTP)
