Linux Systems Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Linux Systems Engineer to support their Data Center Operations team.

Key Responsibilities

• Support physical and virtual computing environments in a Linux-based data center
• Administer and troubleshoot RedHat/CentOS/Rocky systems and manage Linux KVM virtualization
• Investigate and resolve production issues, and develop Knowledge Base articles and Standard Operating Procedures

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in supporting physical and virtual network and computing environments in a Linux-based data center
• Experience with MySQL administration, clustering, and replication
• Proficient in writing and troubleshooting Perl, Python, or Linux Shell Scripts
• Working knowledge of SAN systems, especially in a ZFS environment
• 4 Year Technical Degree or equivalent workplace experience
