Linux Systems Engineer
Job Summary
Focused on supporting and scaling data center and cloud infrastructure environments, the remote Linux Systems Engineer will own critical infrastructure tooling for managing environments across AWS and on-premises data centers.
Key responsibilities
- Own and maintain infrastructure tooling for deploying and managing environments across AWS and data center platforms
- Administer and support Linux-based systems, virtualization platforms, and storage infrastructure
- Collaborate with teams to automate operational processes and enhance platform scalability
Required qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in Systems Administration, Systems Engineering, or related roles
- Strong hands-on experience with Linux administration, including Ubuntu or other enterprise distributions
- Experience with VMware, NetApp storage solutions, and bare-metal server environments
- Familiarity with AWS infrastructure services and automation tools
- Working knowledge of Kubernetes and containerized environments
