Linux Systems Engineer
Job Summary
Supporting large-scale data center environments, the fully remote Linux Systems Engineer will administer Linux-based infrastructure, manage virtualization and storage technologies, and automate provisioning tasks to enhance operational efficiency.
Key responsibilities
- Administer and support Linux-based infrastructure across enterprise and cloud environments
- Manage virtualization, storage, and server technologies including VMware and NetApp
- Troubleshoot complex performance and infrastructure-related issues
Required qualifications
- 7+ years of Linux systems administration or infrastructure engineering experience
- Strong experience with Linux operating systems, preferably Ubuntu or similar distributions
- Hands-on experience with VMware virtualization and NetApp storage technologies
- Background supporting data center infrastructure and physical server environments
- Exposure to AWS cloud infrastructure and Kubernetes environments
