Linux/Unix Systems Administrator

Job Summary

Managing Linux/Unix development, test, and production servers, the full-time Level 2 NOC Systems Administrator will perform advanced troubleshooting, monitoring, and incident remediation in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Administer Linux/Unix servers, including patching, configuration, and shell-level maintenance
• Diagnose and resolve complex Linux/Unix OS and connectivity issues while performing daily system monitoring
• Own Level 2 Linux/Unix-related tickets through resolution, including root cause analysis and operational reporting

Required qualifications

• BA/BS degree and 2-4 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination
• Strong experience with Linux/Unix troubleshooting and server administration
• Ability to support 24/7 operations and rotating shifts
• U.S. Citizenship and U.S. residency required
• May also hold Windows credentials if permitted
