LinuxONE Infrastructure Engineer
Job Summary
Supporting and managing the enterprise LinuxONE environment across multiple data centers, the remote contract LinuxONE Infrastructure Engineer will deploy, administer, troubleshoot, and maintain LinuxONE infrastructure while providing technical leadership and consultative guidance for LinuxONE initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and support LinuxONE infrastructure across multiple data centers
- Perform Linux deployment, configuration, maintenance, upgrades, and troubleshooting
- Lead technical discussions and provide executive-level technical communication and consulting
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience deploying and/or administering Linux on zSystems or LinuxONE
- 5+ years working with Red Hat and Canonical Ubuntu distributions
- 5+ years of experience with Red Hat OpenShift
- 5+ years administering the IBM Hardware Management Console (HMC)
- Strong experience with Fiber Channel/SAN technologies
