Literacy Content Developer

Job Summary

To support the development of engaging professional learning experiences, the full-time Literacy Content Developer will conceptualize, design, and produce multimedia content for on-site and virtual workshops aligned with elementary literacy programs for grades Pre-K through 5, while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design and expand literacy curriculum-based professional learning content using instructional design methodologies
• Produce multimedia assets, including instructional videos and interactive simulations, utilizing various authoring tools
• Facilitate internal training programs for literacy-focused employees in various formats, ensuring alignment with educational standards

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Literacy, Instructional Design, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of early literacy classroom teaching experience (Grades Pre-K through 5)
• 3 or more years of professional experience in education, instructional design, or corporate training development
• Experience in developing scalable professional learning workshops and interactive courses for elementary educators
• Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and collaborate effectively with diverse teams
