Litigation Claims Senior Counsel

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Litigation & Claims Senior Counsel.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze and resolve a high volume of active claims and potential claims
• Manage outside counsel for advice and defense of the company
• Train and advise internal clients on legal issues and recommend corrective measures

Required Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor from a U.S. law school
• 5+ years' professional legal experience in law firms, insurance brokerages, or other in-house legal departments
• Strong knowledge of the insurance industry
• Technological skills relating to data analysis and efficient case handling
• Familiarity with employment, corporate, transactional, and non-solicitation law is a plus
