Litigation Compliance Attorney
Job Summary
Detail-oriented and business-minded, the fully remote Litigation Compliance Attorney will focus on ethics compliance for litigation, including client intake, conflicts of interest, and compliance throughout all phases of cases while collaborating with the firm's General Counsel.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct research, writing, and investigations into legal and ethical compliance issues, drafting firm SOPs and various legal documents
- Audit and oversee case handling to ensure compliance and performance, advising on litigation ethics across the firm
- Track key case metrics and escalate issues to supervising attorneys and management as necessary
Required qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school; active license to practice law in state of residence
- 4+ years of litigation experience in a prominent law firm
- 2+ years of experience in ethics compliance relating to litigation
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Self-starter capable of working effectively in a remote environment
