Litigation Consultant - MN Licensed

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Litigation Consultant specializing in General Liability and Bodily Injury, with a preference for candidates in Minnesota or those seeking remote opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and act on reports/forms, respond to inquiries, and seek legal opinions for early resolution
• Handle high-end cases with serious injuries and complex coverage scenarios, developing strategies for resolution
• Coordinate with local counsel, manage settlements, and participate in mediations, trials, or hearings as needed

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred; Juris Doctorate (JD) preferred
• Ten years of experience handling litigation, including five years in claims management or equivalent education and experience
• Experience in identifying and formulating defense strategies
• Ability to manage subrogation opportunities and related processes
• Experience in coordinating with clients and legal counsel
