Litigation Counsel

Job Summary

As a full-time remote Litigation Counsel, the successful candidate will manage active litigation and arbitration matters, serve as a legal advisor to Trust & Risk and Customer Support teams, and develop processes to translate enforcement actions into defensible legal positions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a docket of active litigation and arbitration matters, driving strategy and coordinating with outside counsel
• Serve as a real-time legal advisor on account enforcement decisions, ensuring accurate documentation and minimizing legal risk
• Identify systemic issues in the docket and implement business-oriented solutions while building necessary legal frameworks and templates

Required qualifications

• J.D. degree and active bar membership in at least one US state
• 5+ years of litigation experience, preferably with in-house experience in a tech platform or marketplace
• Fluency in trust, safety, and risk operations with experience in platform enforcement actions
• Expertise in handling high-volume consumer disputes, with knowledge of platform liability and IP/DMCA issues
• Demonstrated experience using AI tools to improve legal work efficiency and quality
