Litigation Counsel

Job Summary

To support a growing legal team, the full-time Litigation Counsel will manage various litigation workstreams, including independent contractor classification and professional negligence, while collaborating with internal and outside counsel in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage litigation related to independent contractor classification and unemployment insurance claims
• Partner with internal and outside counsel on high-stakes litigation matters, including drafting legal documents
• Provide legal guidance to cross-functional teams and support various legal workstreams as needed

Required qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) with at least 5 years of legal experience
• Proven ability to take ownership of projects and manage them independently
• Strong communication and writing skills
• Experience navigating complex legal issues and ambiguity
• Willingness to engage with data from unfamiliar sources
