Job Summary
To support the litigation team, the full-time remote Litigation Docket Specialist will manage docket requests, ensure accurate deadline monitoring, and assist in improving docketing processes using the firm's litigation docketing software.
Key responsibilities
- Independently docket for designated assignment groups, ensuring all deadlines are identified and accurately recorded
- Create, review, and distribute accurate matter reports while responding to inquiries from timekeepers and staff
- Collaborate with the Litigation Docket Manager to enhance docketing best practices and remain current on court rules and procedures
Required qualifications
- 2-year degree or Paralegal Certificate required; 4-year degree in a related field preferred
- 3-5 years of litigation docketing experience, preferably with CompuLaw Vision
- 3-5 years of litigation experience in various federal and state courts, including deadline calculation and calendaring
- Strong knowledge of litigation processes, court rules, and procedures
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe products, and legal research tools
