Litigation Paralegal
Job Summary
To support a legal matter cleanup project, the full-time contract Litigation Paralegal will manage matter inventory, deadline control, and backlog clearance while working remotely for a duration of six months.
Key responsibilities
- Build and reconcile a verified inventory of all active legal matters from various sources
- Calendar and track all deadlines, hearings, and obligations, escalating any issues promptly
- Rebuild documentation structures and maintain a current matter management system
Required qualifications
- Five or more years of experience as a litigation paralegal supporting a multi-jurisdiction docket
- Direct experience with the civil litigation lifecycle, including pleadings and trial preparation
- Proven ability to build or rebuild a matter inventory from incomplete records
- Working knowledge of court calendaring and jurisdictional deadline rules
- Experience coordinating with outside counsel across multiple firms
