Job Summary

Managing live captioning and streaming projects remotely, the part-time contractor Live Captioning Project Manager will oversee project planning, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and ensure high-quality delivery while adhering to accessibility standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee live captioning and streaming projects from conception to completion, ensuring on-time and high-quality delivery
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements, timelines, and deliverables
• Lead the configuration and deployment of streaming infrastructure and captioning tools across various platforms

Required Qualifications

• Proficiency in live streaming platforms and encoders such as OBS and Wirecast
• Strong understanding of real-time captioning technologies and experience with captioning tools
• Proven ability to troubleshoot audio/video quality issues and captioning delays
• Knowledge of accessibility standards such as ADA and WCAG
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under tight deadlines
