LMS Administrator (Canvas Specialist)

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Specialist Systems Engineering.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary administrator for the Canvas LMS, managing system configuration, user access, and ongoing performance monitoring
• Configure and maintain SSO integrations and connect with institution SIS through OneRoster APIs
• Provide support and training to 300 institutions and troubleshoot data flow or access issues

Required Qualifications

• 5-7 years of hands-on experience administering Canvas in a professional environment
• Expert-level understanding of JSON/XML and scripting languages (Python, Ruby, Bash)
• Experience with Elevate Data Sync or relevant OneRoster API middleware
• Comfortable with SIS systems such as PowerSchool, Blackbaud, and the K12 information technology ecosystem
• Proven ability to manage multiple high-priority implementations and competing timelines
