Job Summary
Contracted to full-time, the LMS Integration Engineer will build and maintain integrations with enterprise Learning Management Systems and Learning Experience Platforms, ensuring data accuracy and reliability while working remotely for 20-40 hours per week.
Key responsibilities
- Develop new LMS/LXP integrations with platforms such as Cornerstone OnDemand and Oracle Learning, following established integration frameworks
- Maintain and extend existing integrations, debugging issues and improving error handling and observability
- Ensure data accuracy by validating catalog payloads and maintaining completion tracking via xAPI statements
Required qualifications
- Proven experience integrating with enterprise LMS or LXP platforms, such as Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, or Degreed
- Strong proficiency in Ruby and familiarity with Ruby on Rails frameworks
- Deep understanding of OAuth2 and REST API patterns, including SAML 2.0
- Working knowledge of xAPI for learning record statements and comfort with SFTP-based file exchange
- Experience with background job patterns and familiarity with content packaging standards like SCORM is a plus
