LMSW Health Educator

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Health Educator I to provide culturally responsive, trauma-informed services to immigrant survivors of torture and human rights violations.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide case management and care coordination for clients to meet their comprehensive needs
• Conduct intake assessments and manage client referrals, including tracking data and scheduling intakes
• Organize and facilitate health education and wellness groups, and provide supportive counseling

Required Qualifications

• LMSW (or MSW intending to obtain license within the next 6 months)
• 1-2 years of experience in trauma-informed counseling and case management for vulnerable populations preferred
• 1-2 years of nonprofit sector experience related to human rights, global health, and/or immigration preferred
• Fluency in Spanish strongly preferred; knowledge of additional languages is a plus
• Demonstrated cultural competency and interest in strengths-based case management and trauma-informed care
