Loan Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Loan Accountant to manage loan activity and investor transactions.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations of loan-related general ledger accounts
• Analyze and prepare monthly bank reconciliations of various Clearing and Investor Custodial bank accounts
• Reconcile and post journal entries for Investor loan sales and purchases

Required Qualifications

• Associate's degree in a business-related field or a minimum of 2 years of relevant business experience
• Previous accounting/financial experience is required
• Knowledge of Fiserv DNA or other loan servicing software is preferred
• Strong understanding of GAAP accounting and financial statements
• Must be bondable and have reliable internet access of 50MBPS
