Loan Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Loan Analyst for a 6-month remote contract position with benefits.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze loan applications, collect essential documents, and obtain third-party reports
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, providing personalized assistance and support throughout the loan process
• Review and analyze documents against credit policy to prepare loans for underwriting decisions

Required Qualifications

• Preferred Associate's or Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field
• 1-2 years of experience as a Loan Analyst/Processor or 2-3 years in the mortgage lending industry
• Strong computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Word & Excel/Google Suite
• Ability to define problems, collect data, and draw valid conclusions
• Flexibility to work in a dynamic environment of rapid change
