Loan Officer Assistant
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Loan Officer Assistant to support loan origination staff in various tasks related to loan transactions.
Key Responsibilities
- Communicates with customers, real estate agents, and escrows at the start of transactions
- Collects necessary documentation to complete loan transactions and assists with preapprovals and loan structuring
- Updates all parties on the status of loan transactions and orders standard loan requirements and verifications
Required Qualifications
- Two or more years of recent mortgage operations, underwriting, and/or processing experience
- Current hands-on experience as a loan officer assistant, processor, or underwriter
- Proficient product knowledge of various loan programs including FHA, VA, and Conventional loans
- Understanding of compliance regulations and investor guidelines
- Proficient with Encompass software
