Loan Officer Assistant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Loan Officer Assistant.

Key Responsibilities

• Communicates with customers, real estate agents, and escrows at the start of the transaction
• Collects necessary customer documentation to complete the loan transaction
• Assists loan originators with preapprovals and updates all parties on loan transaction status

Required Qualifications and Education

• High school diploma or GED
• Two or more years of recent mortgage operations, underwriting, or processing experience
• Demonstrated product knowledge of FHA, VA, Conventional, and other loan programs
• Ability to analyze tax returns and calculate income for various borrowers
• Flexibility to work a schedule that may include evenings and weekends
