Job Summary

Supporting the loan process in a remote capacity, the full-time Loan Originator Assistant will manage loan applications, coordinate documentation, and serve as a primary point of contact for clients and Realtors throughout the mortgage lifecycle.

Key responsibilities
  • Facilitate the completion of loan applications and coordinate the collection of necessary documentation
  • Serve as the main point of contact between Loan Originators, clients, and referral partners during the loan process
  • Monitor loan progress and provide status updates to all parties involved to ensure timely closings
Required qualifications
  • 3 to 5+ years of experience in a related role such as Loan Originator Assistant, Loan Officer, or Underwriter
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Working knowledge of DU/DO, LP, and originating systems; Encompass experience strongly preferred
  • Strong understanding of various mortgage products including FHA, VA, USDA, and reverse mortgages
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
