Loan Review Specialist

Job Summary

Managing a pipeline of closed mortgage loans, the full-time remote Loan Review Specialist will ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance of loan files before investor delivery while identifying and escalating issues that could delay purchases.

Key responsibilities

• Complete detailed reviews of closed loan files to meet investor and internal audit requirements
• Manage competing deadlines while ensuring all required loan-level tasks are completed in the loan system
• Support quality assurance efforts by identifying trends and sharing feedback to improve team performance

Required qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in mortgage operations, preferably in post-closing or loan delivery
• Experience reviewing loan files for completeness, accuracy, and compliance
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
• Experience working in Encompass or similar mortgage loan systems
• Preferred knowledge of government loan programs, including FHA and VA guidelines
