Job Summary

A company is looking for a Loan Underwriter to join their business-purpose Underwriting Team.

Key Responsibilities

• Underwrite short-term real estate investment loans by analyzing property-level data and borrower profiles
• Collaborate with the loan pod to enhance member experience and improve operations
• Review and approve title-related documents and evaluate entity documentation for compliance

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of mortgage underwriting experience, particularly with short-term bridge or construction loans
• Knowledge of title commitments, asset verification, and LLC/entity structures for business purpose loans
• Experience in residential real estate investing or financial technology (FinTech) is a plus
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and comfortable in a small, unstructured remote environment
• Basic investment knowledge or willingness to learn with math proficiency
