Job Summary
A company is looking for a Local Advertising Account Executive responsible for building local advertising business and developing relationships with local business leaders.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and manage a book of business by leveraging existing relationships with local decision-makers
- Prospect, pitch, and close new local advertisers across various industries
- Serve as the brand ambassador in-market, attending events and collaborating with editorial teams
Required Qualifications
- 5-8+ years in sales, digital media, advertising, or a related field
- Deep connections in the local market with the ability to turn relationships into revenue
- Proven ability to build and monetize a book of business
- Demonstrated success in closing new business and generating revenue from personal networks
- Strong relationships with local advertisers, agencies, or business leaders
