Job Summary

Working remotely, the part-time Local Branded Content Writer will develop branded content for local advertising partners, collaborating with the Branded Content Editor and revenue partners to create engaging campaigns in Axios' Smart Brevity style.

Key responsibilities

• Craft original sponsored content and conduct research on local issues and communities
• Translate brand messaging into relevant and authentic stories for local audiences
• Collaborate with small creative teams to produce client-driven materials across various platforms

Required qualifications

• Writing experience in branded, local editorial, or community-focused content
• Strong understanding of storytelling and thought leadership in service journalism
• Ability to research and brainstorm themes that align with client goals
• Experience writing for newsletters, websites, and social media platforms
• Familiarity with creative team dynamics and client-driven content production
