Job Summary
A company is looking for a Local Policy and Community Affairs Manager to support engagement with local policymakers and community members in the United States.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with government officials to develop support for local approvals and update them on operations
- Assist in developing a cross-functional strategy for community engagement aligned with corporate values
- Coordinate community engagement activities and represent the company at local events and meetings
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in policy, public affairs, communications, or community engagement
- Experience in developing community engagement strategies around infrastructure projects
- Ability to travel domestically as needed
- Preferred experience working with local government or in the technology, transportation, or aviation sectors
