Job Summary

Supporting the state government affairs policy team, the full-time Local Policy Specialist will manage legislative bill tracking, complex data entry, and assist in the bill review process while working in a hybrid environment.

Key responsibilities
  • Assist in processing legislation intake, managing deadlines, and maintaining internal and commercial bill trackers
  • Perform complex data entry and email management for legislative bill trackers to ensure timely reviews
  • Recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy within the policy team
Required qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5+ years of relevant professional experience
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Knowledge of the state legislative process and critical external legislative deadlines
  • Experience with Smartsheet is helpful
