Local SEO Manager

Job Summary

Owning the local SEO strategy end-to-end, the full-time Remote Local SEO Manager will build and optimize local search engines for service businesses, focusing on high-intent queries and driving qualified demand across the U.S. and Canada.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement local SEO strategies, including programmatic city and vertical pages, and map pack optimization
• Conduct competitive research and analyze local search performance, identifying opportunities for growth and optimization
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to ensure technical SEO requirements are met and maintain page architecture

Required qualifications

• Proven experience in local SEO with a track record of successful strategies and outcomes
• Strong understanding of technical SEO, including indexing, crawlability, and structured data
• Experience with competitive analysis against major local directories and service platforms
• Ability to create scalable content templates while maintaining quality
• Hands-on experience with SEO tools such as Google Search Console and data analysis
