Localization Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Localization Engineer, fully remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide engineering and technical services for complex projects to facilitate efficient translations
• Apply advanced technical expertise to ensure quality and profitability on large projects
• Manage localization engineering tasks and troubleshoot localization projects throughout their lifecycle

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Translation Studies, Linguistics, Programming, Computer Science, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, including previous localization engineering experience
• Experience with various file formats (Json, Resx, HTML, XML, etc.) and CAT/TMS tools (e.g., SDL Trados Studio, MemoQ)
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, C++, or C# is preferred
• Certification in localization engineering or related fields is preferred
