Localization Engineer

Job Summary

Localization Engineer, responsible for providing engineering and technical services on complex projects to ensure efficient and high-quality translations, in a full-time remote position.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and prepare files for translation and implementation in customer environments
• Apply advanced technical expertise to manage large and complex projects for quality and profitability
• Guide project teams and resolve localization issues throughout the project lifecycle

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Translation Studies, Linguistics, Programming, Computer Science, or a related field
• Previous localization engineering experience, comparable to 5 years
• Experience with various file formats (e.g., Json, HTML, XML) and CAT/TMS tools (e.g., SDL Trados Studio, MemoQ)
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, C++, or C# is preferred
• Certification in localization engineering or related fields is preferred
