Localization Engineer

Job Summary

Providing technical support for specialized file types in translation, the full-time remote Localization Engineer will manage client onboarding processes, respond to internal requests, and ensure the successful integration of translations into source files while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to requests for Localization Engineering from internal customers and serve as a technical advisor during client onboarding
• Collect customer requirements and prepare quote details while specifying project workflows for technical projects
• Perform engineering checks on files, make necessary formatting adjustments, and document new processes

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required
• At least 2 years of experience in technical/localization project management or engineering
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, XML, and general software and website concepts
• Experience with memoQ or similar CAT tools
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
