Localization Manager
Job Summary
Leading an enterprise translation and localization program, the full-time remote Localization Manager will manage the end-to-end localization process, including vendor management, quality oversight, and process improvements, while supporting Commercial, Medical, and Government Affairs teams within a pharmaceutical environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the localization lifecycle from intake and scoping through final delivery and quality control
- Manage relationships with Language Service Providers and external translation vendors, ensuring performance and compliance
- Identify gaps in translation workflows and implement process enhancements to improve quality and efficiency
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Linguistics, Translation/Localization, Communications, Marketing, or equivalent experience
- 8+ years of enterprise localization/translation program management experience
- Strong understanding of translation workflows and quality management
- Experience with Translation Management Systems (TMS) and localization technologies
- Demonstrated leadership and process improvement experience
