Localization Project Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Localization Project Manager to join their localization team on an 18-month contract.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage project scope, file organization, vendor allocation, and administrative tasks related to localization projects
• Oversee the localization of web content and software, including Localization QA, and support project managers with daily tasks
• Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve issues related to source files, terminology, and language quality

Required Qualifications

• BA/BS degree or equivalent in a relevant field
• A minimum of 2 years of hands-on Localization Project Management experience
• Experience with computer-aided translation tools; SDL WorldServer experience is preferred
• Proficiency in another language is desired
• Understanding of localization best practices and experience in mitigating localization issues
