Localization Specialist

Job Summary

Managing the end-to-end lifecycle of translated content, the contractor Localization Specialist will focus on quality monitoring and continuous improvement of localization operations, with the flexibility to work remotely from Irvine, California.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and maintain translated content within CMS and TMS platforms
• Coordinate the import, export, and publication of multilingual content across all project stages
• Track, analyze, and report on linguist and vendor performance using quality metrics and data visualizations

Required qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in localization, technical writing, or content management
• Proficiency with Content Management Systems (CMS) and Translation Management Systems (TMS)
• Experience tracking and resolving quality issues in a multilingual environment
• Strong organizational, documentation, and analytical skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with internal teams and external language service providers
