Localization Technical Lead

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal Engineer, Team Lead - Localization and Mapping.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute localization projects for self-driving vehicle navigation
• Lead, manage, and grow a team of engineers
• Drive the strategy and roadmap for next-generation localization solutions

Required Qualifications

• Masters or PhD in Computer Science, Robotics, or a related field; or equivalent industry experience
• Extensive experience managing and leading engineers
• Proven leadership in executing large, complex technical initiatives
• Deep understanding of SLAM, especially visual and visual-inertial SLAM
• Fluency in C++ software engineering in a Unix environment
