Locating Desk Technician

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Locating Desk Technician I to assist in preventing damage to network protection and underground fiber lines.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and record emergency and non-emergency calls and emails
• Provide information and solutions to address problems and requests
• Dispatch Fiber Locators and coordinate with utilities based on business needs

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to read and comprehend maps
• Experience in telecommunications, dispatch, or utility locating preferred
• Customer service experience required
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
